Yoga Classes:
55 Plus Class on Wednesdays 10:15am to 11:15am, Kirtland Community Center

Flexibility is NOT required to try any yoga class; how-ever willingness to try something new is! Yoga is won-derful for seniors! In this class students do poses that improve strength, increase range of motion (getting the coffee mug from the cupboard becomes easier!) and bring greater flexibility, overall energy, concentration, and balance. Plus it just feels good! All abilities, ages, and body types welcome! Bring a yoga mat.

Chair Yoga onWednesdays 11:30am to 12:30pm, Kirtland Community Center

Chair Yoga — This is our fastest growing class! Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that offers many health benefits, from reduced stress to improved strength and flexibility. If you have had a knee or hip replacement or are simply inactive, this is a great class to start becoming active again. Chair yoga is gentle and kind to your body. You will notice results quickly as you sit in a chair and do poses and stretches that help you receive yoga’s healing and restorative effects which have been known for thousands of years. Yoga relaxes your body and mind and elevates your overall health and well-being. You will feel great!

Zenworks Yoga

I am also a children and teen yoga teacher at Zenworks Yoga.  Zenworks is a wonderful non-profit organization that brings yoga to the classroom free of charge via donations, grants and more.
